CIA Life exists to reignite the Church’s passionate, singular focus on Jesus – restoring our first love and demonstrating that he is the supreme answer for every need.

We envision a transformed Church radically centered on Christ, where followers live moment-by-moment in complete surrender, experiencing Jesus as the supreme treasure of their existence, and reflecting his all-sufficiency in every aspect of life.
About John
It all started with frustration. Newly married to the most beautiful bride with a solid 9-5 job I was growing increasingly frustrated. Frustrated really at the lack of purpose in my life. From an outsider’s perspective I had it made. From mine, something was missing. I explored entering various careers to shore up the dearth of significance I felt. Yet after exploring each potential field I’d inevitably arrive back at the same feeling I’d been having: Is there a purpose to this life? So I asked my two most trusted friends what they thought the meaning of life was. Their answer, independent of each other, was the same – to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I’d been a Christian for a while. Heck, I’d even graduated from seminary. But, an intimate relationship with Christ – that was mostly foreign ground. I started to explore what this meant and I was quickly impacted with my life forever changed. I began to realize that Jesus is the answer to everything. Everything. My life became fulfilled. Not due to achievements and accolades. But, due to him. Just being with him and making him my all. Which led me to this. CIA Life where Christ is All. Because he truly is worthy of every moment of our lives.
John holds degrees from Macalester College (BA) and Fuller Theological Seminary (MAT)
